The computer you use can get pretty dirty sometimes and that might reduce it's performance and reduce it's life time so here is some advice on how you can clean it up.The computer won't be well cleaned if you'll use alcohol cleaners, you'll need to use a hard surface cleaner, in concentrated solution in warm water.Cleaning the caseYou'll need a cloth that you'll wrung in the solution you chose. Use this cloth to wipe the casing and all the external parts (cabling, keyboard). Make sure you wash the cloth since the soil will be considerable. Excess water shouldn't be used and try not to let water go into the vents of the case. You will be able to clean between the keyboard keys by using damp cloth pushed between the keys with toothpicks. The following actions need to be taken every six months.Cleaning actions that should be taken periodically, every six monthsYou'll need to open the case and remove all the dust from it and from the vents.
You'll need to be very care full while cleaning inside the case. You can use the vacuum cleaner but be sure the motor is far from the computer and it's components. Also, you should earth yourself by touching any metal object that you know it's earthed, like a radiator. You should vacuum the vents of the casing and the keyboard. The keyboard is a place where a lot of dust and rubbish collects, the amount might surprise you. Keeping the dust away from the vents of the case and the coolers inside it you'll prevent overheating the computer that leads to damaging the components.
Also, it's not a good thing to push the dust out of the computer, it's just going to stay in your room and will eventually get back in the computer Mouse cleaningThe mouse can be cleaned by removing the ball and dusting inside, remove stray food and human or dog hairs from around the rollers. You'll have to keep the mouse dry, everything has to be scraped out. That's just a small bit of advice meant to help you keep your computer clean, it's a good thing to get your computer to a professional cleaning service for better cleaning..

Keyboard Workshop Announces Release of New DVD Course Titled "How To Play More Piano Notes Without Reading More Notes"
Medford, OR (ContentDesk) March 16, 2006 -- Most people learn to play the piano by playing just the written music. Playing by written music is exactly what the phrase says it is -- playing the exact notation on a piece of sheet music. But playing by chord symbol is very different. Instead of following the harmony note by note, the musician follows the chord symbols (i.e. C7 or F or Bbm, etc.) written above the harmonies, filling in the gaps with their own improvisations based on those chords.
Chord symbols -- sometimes referred to as "chord tabs" (for example, Cmaj7 or G6 or Fm7) are a type of notation used frequently in jazz and other areas of modern music to notate chord progressions and changes. This type of notation differs from that of classical music in that chord symbols don't show the function of a chord the way the Roman numeral notation does. Chord symbols, for modern music with lots of changes, are much easier to read. They function as a sort of shorthand for change-heavy...

Top 7 Do's for Successful Improvisation
Do you think you can't improvise? Nonsense! All you need are a few chords, the right attitude, and a piano or keyboard. Follow these seven principles and you'll be improvising at the keyboard in no time!1. Do listen to what's going on inside yourself before and while you sit down to play - your inner state will determine the emotional quality of your playing2. Do let go of the need to be perfect. Trying to "be correct" will defeat the playful attitude necessary for improvisaiton3.
Do believe that you are good enough to begin. No one person knows it all so you might as well jump in and experience the joy of improvisation.4. Do realize that you don't need a lot of theory or technique before you're ready to play piano in the new age style. If you don't begin now, when will you?5. Do understand that improvisation is not some mysterious skill, but a game that can be learned and played just like any other game6.
Do enjoy the process and let go of the outcome. Trying to control...

How to find 11th Chords from minor7th Chords (Piano, Keyboard and Organ)
When starting to learn chords, most people will start with the basic major and minor chords, then on to 7th and minor 7th chords. You might be surprised to learn that when you have mastered all twelve minor 7th chords you have also potentially learned twenty-four 11th chords.
I love the sound of 11th chords; they somehow manage to give a big sound and are great for key changes. If you want to listen to good examples of 11th chords then listen to some early Barry Manilow music such as "Even Now", "Mandy" and "Cant smile without you". Listen in particular to the key changes and there you have a good big sounding example of 11th chords in action.
So how to find the 11th chord from a minor 7th chord. First, learn all twelve minor 7th
chords.
Second, make sure you know where the fifth in any chord is. For example, the fifth in Gm7 is "D", which is seven semitones from the root. ("G" root to "D" fifth is seven semitones)
Now you...

(ContentDesk) December 2, 2004 -- If you're a fan of Fats Waller, David Lanz, Vince Guaraldi or any of a thousand other piano players, you know how difficult it has been to find a web portal for your taste. That problem is now history. OnlyPiano.com opened this week with a number of features that help the piano fan and artist alike - and it's all free. OnlyPiano.com includes the usual news and resource links - but this time it's specific to piano. If fact, OnlyPiano.com has its own Web radio station, Only Piano Radio, which features new and established jazz, new-age, classical and indie piano music - it runs 24 hours a day.
Gary Bryant, a piano player and composer himself, was frustrated by the lack of web venues for piano music. Most online music venues are geared towards more main stream markets like rock, hip-hop and alternative music - music of interest to the strongest on-line market place - college students. "Nothing wrong with that," says Bryant, "but there are other kinds...
