Eliminate Formatting in Outlook Or Outlook Express
I often use copy and paste to take content from one e-mail and add it to another. Because of the cost of ink and the limited knowledge of some of my friends, I usually like to make fonts smaller and change them from color to black. But I often have a hard time changing both the font and the color, and sometimes I can't do either. I'm wondering whether this has something to do with the originator's programs. In any case, I'd appreciate any help that you can offer in this area.Whether you reply or copy/paste, cleaning up formatting in HTML-based e-mail messages can be tough.
Just because the sender liked pale green text against a background of clouds doesn't mean your reply needs to be equally illegible. The easiest solution is to convert the message to plain text and then, if desired, back to HTML. To do that in Outlook, you would select Format | Plain Text from the message's menu, click Yes to confirm you want to discard the formatting, and then select Format | HTML. Using just the keyboard, you can accomplish this by typing Alt-O, T, Y, Alt-O, H. In Outlook Express, you'd select Format | Plain Text, click OK to confirm, then select Format | Rich Text (HTML).
Again, this would be Alt+O, X, Spacebar, Alt+O, and R on the keyboard. Once you've removed the unwanted formatting, you can format the remaining text any way you please..

Tired of That Old Heavy Keyboard, Tube Amplifier Or Battered Guitar?
(ContentDesk) July 7, 2006 -- In the early years musicians relied on friends, band members and the newspaper classifieds to peddle their unwanted wares. Today, Kevin Kopec, of Guitarshows.com has the new solution. Since 1993, he has been producing one day buy, sell or trade networking events called "music selloffs" for the professional musician and hobbyist to meet up with like minded individuals to play on the old adage "one mans trash is another mans treasure".
HANNOVER, Germany (ContentDesk) March 24, 2004 -- The new FireFly Lighted Keyboard uses patented Electro-Luminescent (EL) technology to produce a soft glow that highlights the keyboard's lettering and alleviates eyestrain common among computer users. This keyboard is being introduced at CeBIT, the world's largest computer trade show, in Hannover, Germany, March 18-24th, 2004. The FireFly Keyboard will be on display at IC INTRACOM's exhibit located at Hall 16, Stand C06. "The FireFly Keyboard offers advantages not found in earlier lighted keyboards or more recent knock-off products that may violate the FireFly patent," said Ben Zupan, Director of Global Marketing for IC INTRACOM. "Under normal use, the Electro-Luminescence has a lifetime of 20 years and features a convenient on/off switch.
The FireFly offers a better experience for home-office workers, college students, PC gamers, LAN party enthusiasts, graphic artists, case modders and others." The FireFly Lighted Keyboard features...

Getting Acquainted with Notebook Computers

What are your computer needs? Notebook computers, sometimes referred to as laptop computers, just like desktop computers can be configured for a variety of purposes. Will you be using your notebook primarily for business? If so, are you heavily into word processing or spreadsheets or is your work directed toward graphics? Do you need to be connected to the internet for research and/or communication? Maybe you want a notebook mainly to enjoy games or movies? Selecting a Personal Digital Assistant
A Computer in Your Hand Carrying around an address book and planner is becoming a thing of the past. With new PDA developments, you can manage your contacts and schedule, use e-mail, and even listen to music. Personal Digital Assistants, originally called "Palm Pilots," previously were used just for retrieving basic information. Today, using some of the more advanced models could possibly replace the need to carry a laptop computer. Modern PDAs can play music, games, videos, write documents, and connect to networks and databases -- nothing short of a desktop computer.
Although newer PDAs have the processing power of a computer, they still have some limitations. Inputting information is done by handwriting recognition or by a miniature keyboard. Skilled users can input 20 - 30 words per minute, less than half the speed of a good typist on a full-size keyboard. PDAs with a color screen tend to run through battery life faster. Finally, because the small screen size the number of...

Are Online Tax Lien Auctions Worthwhile?
In today's day and age, the local tax collector has finally caught up with technology. The trend of online tax auctions is in full swing and now you too can buy tax liens from the comfort of home.
Here is how an online tax sale works: The county tax collector, through a third party provider, sets up an auction website. They have a bidding window, usually around a week. You as an investor simply logs in, submits your best offer and if it's accepted, then you have a tax lien.
